David Krug, Founder & CEO

David Krug is a lifelong entrepreneur who believes in bootstrapping companies. Since 2001 he’s been starting and growing small startups into profitable companies. He’s consulted across a variety of industries including Business, Insurance, Retail, Education, and more. Several of David’s investments and companies have been acquired by RedVentures, MediaWhiz, and more.

David began his career building, and flipping websites and turned to SEO consulting, and project management before moving into more leadership roles and investing. He’s proud to be leading this completely remote team across 3 continents with the sheer focus of becoming leaders in the life insurance space.

John Bagwell, President & COO

John Bagwell is a seasoned insurance executive with over 20 years of experience in the industry. He has worked for some of the biggest names in the insurance sector, gaining valuable insights into the workings of the market. He is a graduate of the University of Chicago, where he earned a degree in actuarial science.

John began his career as an actuary, working for a leading insurance firm. He quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a senior actuary before transitioning to a management role. As a manager, he oversaw a team of actuaries and was responsible for the development of new insurance products.

In his current role as President & COO at Policy Peak, John is responsible for overseeing the company’s operations and growth. He is a key member of the executive team, providing strategic guidance on the company’s growth and expansion plans.

John’s expertise in risk management and his ability to identify emerging trends in the insurance market have been instrumental in driving Policy Peak’s success.

Sarah Johnson, VP of Organic Revenue Growth

Sarah Johnson is an experienced SEO executive for PolicyPeak. She has over 7 years of experience in digital marketing and specializes in search engine optimization (SEO) and content marketing. Sarah has a proven track record of driving organic traffic and increasing online visibility for various companies.

Prior to joining the insurance startup, Sarah worked as a Director of SEO at a boutique digital marketing agency where she managed SEO campaigns for leading insurance brokerages across the country. She also worked as a Content Marketing Specialist at Stripe where she created and implemented content strategies to drive leads and increase brand awareness.
